Looks like a dingaling wrapped by a snake. They pretty much begged me to sign up. I looked at their page and saw that they were advertising pricing. I haven’t seen since 2016 when I started my business and actually below when we started our business, we started by charging $50 an hour so I told him that his clients are not gonna be people that were interested in because they have checked out of reality, it cost $50 in fuel round-trip just to go to most places in any major city. You and the guy is just starting out nowadays start at like $75hr maybe if a guy is a meth head or illegal that lives around the corner they can charge 40 something dollars an hour was like no it’s not like that. Trust me there’s gonna be great opportunities. Every “lead” has been absolute garbage. Wanting us to come mount TVs mainly for less than $50 when we normally charge $125-$200 just to show up and insure/warranty the work. And it’s not like we’re bougie we live in an RV and can barely afford to get by paying $1000 a month in rent. The real world in a major city like Atlanta is super expensive. The only people these leads are for is somebody who’s just starting out and is living out of their parents basement, junkies trying to get their next hit or undocumented people that are sharing a room that they rent.
I had a person call me for a job before I enrolled and said that she has a couple things she would like me to do for a customer and asked me for a price. I have her the price and she said it was great and would like me to schedule it within 2 days. But first I had to enroll though there all to get verified so I need to submit my address, ssn , etc. well after doing so she asked me to take a screen shot of it and once I send the screenshot she would send me the customer information to out on my schedule. I went ahead and completed it and sent the screenshot shot. I tried to call her back and she responded via text saying she’s in a meeting and can’t talk she would call me back. I waited and received nothing. I attempted to call the next day and again did not receive an answer she texted again and said she’s is just so I responded asking about the information from the job and she advised me she can’t provide it and I would need to email there company email. This is a fraudulent application where they are just gathering personal information. Pls be cautious and do not provide any information to these folks. Or you can become a victim of fraud as I did.
I’ve done work for every, literally every, service provider out there. Angi, Thumbtack, Service Direct, ect. None of them treat us techs very well. InstaService is by far the best from a technician point of view. Had a minor issue and they contacted me! That is unheard of! They made sure I was good to go, walked me through what I needed to do to avoid the issue from happening again. Had a good conversation at that! I usually dread talking to tech support. If you’ve worked for a number of these companies, you’ll know the feeling. I am definitely looking forward to continuing a great working relationship with InstaService!
