This is exactly what I was looking for but it doesn’t work. I get errors that there are “outages” when I can ping the host name from the phone using another app with no problem. It also won’t start testing the host until you do something else. It’s just not polished enough to be useful. The widget doesn’t work at all. It shows a black square with some dimmed graphics but no data. It never shows the hosts that I have saved. I really wanted this app to work. It’s exactly what I wanted, an app to ping a couple of hosts every 5 minutes, notify me if they’re down and give me a widget showing the status. The idea is great, unfortunately the execution is not. Hopefully this app gets better because I like the idea and it would be useful if it worked.
