This app does not contain nearly enough songs for me to get $400 worth out of my guitar. I like that they have a wish list for you to submit songs you'd like them to add, but I highly doubt they'll get to them anytime soon. I wish that they had a way for users to create songs to share with others. But most importantly this app should do what even the most basic app does... connect between device devices. I started using the app with my iPad, but unless I take my iPad everywhere with me, I'm kind of screwed because when I downloaded the app on my phone and logged in none of my saves were there. 😭

The app is fairly straightforward and easy to use but there are way too many songs in the Explore section that have indecipherable writing and you have to constantly sort through a ton of songs to select the one you want. It definitely needs the ability to sort and filter songs. It’s just too cumbersome! Also it would be nice if background music could be played with the songs since I’m not familiar with some of the song melodies.

I love my Smart Guitar and this app adds so much more to the guitar. I desperately want a way to create my own strumming patterns though. Whenever I want to play a song not included on the song library it doesn’t sound right because the strumming pattern doesn’t match or I just have to do a single down strum. Also I wish instead of the obscure names for the provided patterns that it would tell us the exact pattern. Ex. D-D-U —U-D-U. I feel these will make the app and the guitar more accessible to everyone who wants to play a different song or experiment and create with it.
