Blur ID — Automatically blurs avatars, nicknames, names, and faces in photos to protect your privacy before sharing images on social media. It runs entirely locally and is free to use!

As someone who deeply values privacy, I often need to censor chat screenshots before sharing them. This usually involves a tedious manual process, resulting in cluttered images filled with mosaics and color blocks. That's why I created Blur ID.

With Blur ID, you can:

- Automatically censor avatars, nicknames, faces, and sensitive text in apps like iMessage, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Tinder, and Snapchat with high accuracy. Simply import your images — Blur ID handles the rest. To achieve this level of precision, I manually labeled thousands of samples and trained dozens of model versions, refining them to create the current model.

- Enjoy immersive censoring, meaning avatars are replaced and text is seamlessly removed, making the final image look clean and natural. Instead of distracting mosaics, the viewer's focus stays on the content.

Blur ID is fully local and offline. Your images never leave your device, ensuring complete privacy. If you want even more peace of mind, you can disable the app's network permissions. I've dedicated significant time and care to training the model and labeling data to ensure high accuracy and natural results. While there's always room for improvement, I'm committed to refining Blur ID to offer an even faster and more elegant experience in future updates.
