I recently subscribed to the Merfi Al Text to Speech app, expecting a seamless experience for the $8 weekly fee. However, I was shocked to find that I was charged $14 instead. This discrepancy felt like a breach of trust, as the app misrepresented its pricing. To make matters worse, I decided to cancel my subscription early, anticipating that I would still have access to the service until my subscription officially expired on the 23rd. However, once I canceled, my access was cut off immediately. This is not how subscription services typically operate. Usually, you retain access until the end of the billing cycle, especially when you unsubscribe within that period. Overall, I am disappointed with the pricing inconsistency and the abrupt cancellation policy. I expected better from this app, and I cannot recommend it based on my experience.

Do not buy this app. Upgraded to the premium version and it did not work. I got it to clone my voice but the function didn’t work, and I had to close my debit card because I had a mysterious charge on it the next day. Asked for a refund, no reply. Horrible experience.

I really like this app! It’s powerful, easy to use, and the wide range of high quality voices makes it ideal for creators like me who want to save time. It’s been a huge help in turning written content into speech quickly and efficiently. I’m giving it five stars because it genuinely boosts my productivity. I also use 11labs often, so adding compatibility with that would make this app even better.
