This app is actually pretty good. It could be better, but it does have a lot of functionality. I think a lot of people don’t realize that you can configure and access a lot more options by tapping the menu item after it’s been enabled. I have this app controlling my 5w RGB laser. The app has only crashed on me once. With the app you can display text two different ways. You can use “Draw” to enter text… in this way you must enter the text then in the black square act as if you are highlighting invisible text, you should now see your text appear. The other way to display text is using the “text” option. Using this option will make your text scroll on a loop. Asian this is very customizable, allowing you to change the size, color, etc.

I may have to learn to run these with DMX for right now. The app is cool, but very basic. Getting ready to do a couple of festivals and I bought two of these. The app only works for one at a time unless you run a DMX cable from one to the other, and then they will do the same thing from both lasers. One issue I had is I started setting up a bunch of scenes in the app to get the lasers to do what I wanted in practice for my next gig and I switched from the app to look at something on my phone, and when I went back all the work that I had put into the scenes was deleted besides the first scene. I hope they put more work into this app because it’s nice to be able to run these off of my phone or tablet even though it is a little bit more difficult than running it DMX.

The app keeps crashing if exited in certain way and all the programmed scenes disappear. After spending hours making them… you get the idea. Other than that this laser is super versatile.
