Calm mornings Day-at-a-Glance shows my whole day. My brain actually chills out now when I wake up. Aurora breaks big tasks into micro-steps, so I don’t freeze up. Told it “I want to move more,” and it built a simple routine in seconds. No endless setup screens—thank you! Love how it reminds me to drink water without guilt-tripping me.. Plus the streak counter feels like a tiny high-five.
Self Care when your 76 year old female diagnosed with ADHD means dealing with not forgetting your meds, learning to avoid overwhelm by trying to do nine things at once. Learning to work 15 minutes on a project then taking a break. Developing a routine that’s livable and works for me. Not trying to fit myself into what others do and tout as the “way” things are “supposed” to look or be. Hey, I’m a work in progress! I’m not striving to be perfect. I may have twenty-five years to practice and learn, beginning now. One of the best things I’ve found is how quickly Aurora comes up with possible things that might help me work on a project I.E. remove twenty plus year old wall paper that had been painted over. Not only does it give me ownership but encourages me not to give up. Aurora also suggests things I can reward myself with as I progress. So this pavement pounder is learning to drink coffee watch the critters walk fly and jump in the back yard while I figure out my day.
this app is completely unhelpful!!! it doesn't seem to be built for some with Adhd, it forces you into linear conversations with a robot and no freedom to skip ahead or skim (its excruciating having to go through numerous Q&A to achieve any sort of resolution!!!). there are no resources readily available to navigate to, its basically just a glorified chatbot but even less helpful than one. if you try to navigate to other parts of the app, it says that you need to complete your "onboarding" but there is no indication of what that means and no options in the only existing menu related to "onboarding". there's also nowhere in the app to cancel your subscription. if u ask the AI chat to cancel your subscription, it gives instructions for menu items that are nonexistent. beware, this scam stole my money!!!! i thought i was signing up for a free trial, instead it charged me more than $80 for an annual subscription and now i have no way to cancel it!!!
