Wasteland Life: Survival Idle

Well I’ve only been playing this game for a few days. But I love it so much I’ve forgot about all my other games lol! It’s a great take on a farming game BUT BETTER!!! I absolutely LOVE that I don’t need “energy” to play!!! And there’s no barn limit so I can hold as much stuff as I can get!! I can stay on the game as long as I want!! It doesn’t cost energy to chop stuff down unlike most farming games! Although you do need energy to go on expeditions it’s not a lot and you can also watch an ad to get the energy needed. I love the fact that you can watch an ad to temporarily upgrade the vacuum (4 mins) and also watch an ad to temporarily upgrade the axe thing (8 min) !!! That’s such a huge help since the vacuum hardly holds anything! And the regular axe takes a while to chop stuff so I always watch the ads to get them upgrades! There are a few things I would like to change as others have stated… THE BLUE TAPE!!!!! You only get 1 blue tape per expedition!!! And you need a LOT of blue tape! So this is very aggravating! That means I would need to go on tons of expeditions before I can upgrade again!! That’s absurd!!! But other than that I’m loving the game! Would give 5 stars but that blue tape issue disrupts my enjoyment of the game very much! Please put in more blue tape crates so it evens out the game experience!! I do not want to have to do 40 expeditions just to upgrade 1 item!! :( Oh, yes there’s a lot of forced ads and I’m afraid to purchase the “no ads” thing because what other reviewers said! That they can’t skip item wait times anymore, and longer ads. So I have yet to purchase the no forced ads because of those reasons.

Overall I really enjoy the game, but there are a few tweaks that I believe would make the experience a little better. Blue tape for instance, you need to go to Lone Ranch each time to get it, however there is only 1 chest there that supplies the blue tape, and there is only 1 tape per chest. While other items such as glue or rope will have multiple chests and you will receive multiple from each chest. This makes grinding for tape a little dreadful since it is used in multiple items you need. If you make it to where the chest would drop 2 instead this would help the playability of the game. Currently I need to grind the Lone Ranch 30 times in total to upgrade my axe and build a headlight. The other change I would look at is hay, it takes only 40 hay to craft 2 tarps but 100 to craft a seed. With each Lone Ranch run giving you about 40 hay unless you are lucky enough to spawn into the large map, which does not pop up as much, but it does yield about 100 hay. Other than some minor tweaks I really do enjoy the game and find myself playing it multiple times during the day to maintain all crafting, it can be a very passive game.

I’ve collected and collected the blueprint over and over again. I have the latest update of the game I even keep checking for more. I have seen a video where there is a open area behind the bedroom of the house that is beside the room with the chairs on fire which I put out but there is no way that I can get that part open. I have 13 people and I see the man in my wasteland that is quashed between appliances but there is a blueprint there. Just can’t get to it without welding mask because I have the other pieces to cut through just need the mask. I have the second level of water. I need level 5 on everything just to upgrade anymore. I’ve cleared all the level 8 items that you can get to also. I also have my tower completed but the other part of the map says must complete watch tower first and my tower is usable because of course it lets me use it. I’ll rate 3 star because I liked the game and then this comes about. I even paid for no ads. Fix this please. I’m not the only one with these issues. And I know you are sorry and I should have the latest update/version of the game which I have. And if all else fails delete and download the game again. Which probably also means I will have to watch the ads again or pay for them and start all over. And I know you see my problem and will try to fix this in the next update.
