Fable: Kids' Stories & Reading

My kids have been using this app for about a week now and I’ve got to say, I’ve never seen an app with so much potential. From the character creator, educational benefits, sidekicks, villain, custom stories, and everything in between, this app has endless combinations of pure joy for your kids or even parents. Uploading a photo and watching it come to life in front of you and your children’s eyes and then for it to be implemented directly into the story makes for such an immersive narrative. Subscription fees are extremely well priced as well. Everything about this app is 5 stars!

So many wonderful possibilities with this creative storytelling, writing, and reading app. Endless hours of creativity and learning. My daughter is so pleased to write stories including herself as the main character and our beloved Golden Retriever, Goose, as her side kick. Such a positive use of screen time to engage new thinking as well as attention to detail through prompts and questions. Thank you for the opportunity to utilize this fun technology, Fable!

5 stars because the books are amazing! Our kids made several different awesome books - themselves! If you or your child ever dream of writing a children’s book this is an AMAZING app! The (customizable) illustrations and the way it helps the kids write & tweak their own stories in great!! Again, Amazing if you or your kids ever dreamed of writing a picture book. Our books are keepsakes! We ordered paperbacks, which were ‘okay’, but not great quality as books. Glad they have hardback option now too. (I recommend using the web based site rather than the app to make the books.) I love how you can also download pdf version of story. However, the app is just starting and needs some tweaking, but some of the AI generated illustrations are amazing! Improvement…1. On the app version, you can’t get illustrations “back” just on computer version can you customize illustrations more. 2. Customer service emails are good, but slow to reply. 3. I wish there was more (detailed) info about data protection in this app - like make sure our kids info and pics even based on illustrations is private as AI is involved. It says it’s private though under about section…. Overall, wonderful idea and process!! My kids loved it and the books are amazing!
