FMS Trainer: B747

Most features and functions on the FMC did not work. FMC format displays and button functions were not remotely as found in the aircraft. It did not match the legacy, Pegasus, next GEN, or other versions. ACARS was essentially nonfunctional. Completely useless as a trainer, and not even functional as an entertainment device. Seems to be something cobbled together for a Microsoft computer game, rather than a product reflective of the airplane.

Super helpful having a realistic version of the Boeing/Honeywell FMS to learn on outside the simulator. The ability to practice real-world scenarios is especially helpful.

Although some features of FMC and ACARS are still under development, this app is great tool to review and chair fly in front of the paper tiger and prepare for Type Rating or Recurrent training. Coming in from smaller aircraft this application has given me great insight to practice and show up prepared for lessons.
