I usually love all of Gamehouse games but this one is kind of a mess! The gameplay was fun and even a bit challenging at times, but it also could be annoying at times. For example, in the hotel lobby, you were dealing with 2 mini-games, the luggage and the keys, plus the phone and the level quest on top of serving guests. That was a bit much! But the real issues were the nonsensical dialogue in English and the lack of plot. A lot of the dialogue really didn’t make sense in English. And a plot ideally consists of more than multiple macho males telling Vera to get out of town! Not much real action other than a couple things, just a whole lot of bad dialogue! And then there was zero ending! I’m sure there will be another sequel, but I’m not sure I really want to play it. Just not up to par compared with the Emily, Arcane Arts, and Barbarous games! Especially not for $15!!
UPDATE 4 months later: The developer has never updated this app to repair level 53 in hard mode. They ignored feedback from a loyal player and Gamehouse subscriber. I’d give this game 5 stars if Level 53 was fixed, but this game was fun and challenging. Achieved 3 stars on every level in hard mode except level 53. It’s not mathematically possible to achieve 3 stars in hard mode on this one. I emailed the developer and they said “watch an online tutorial or a level 53 walkthrough” but none of the online walkthroughs have players playing in hard mode, so that does not apply here. Great game otherwise but frustrating when you have one level without 3 stars!
What an incredible game, do not hesitate to to download and buy! Great story with a twist and a tantalizing cliffhanger, fun and flawless gameplay, diverse and complicated characters, adult themes, engaging music, interesting cocktail assembly, challenging if played on the hardest level!! The list can go on, but I’d be lying if this goth chick didn’t say it was a funny thrill to serve drinks in a vampire club. I did have to replay the first game to remember the plot line and main character arcs. The best part is that GameHouse stopped making us wait for a week to purchase the full game if we didn’t buy into their membership scheme. Thank you for listening Team GH, my faith and loyalty are forever restored. 🙏🏽 And now, for the agonizing wait for the sequel. Thank you GameHouse!!!
