Rail Locator

There are many areas of the railway that don’t have mobile signal and so an offline option would make this a 5 star app for me. You can still have GPS without mobile signal and so could still find your location (miles and chains) in an emergency. Even if you just have the option of downloading local maps to your device before going out onto the railway.

One thing I think would make this app better is if tapping on the What3Words (W3W) displayed took you directly to the W3W app rather than having to type it in manually. If having a link is not a possibility then at least allow the copy function so it could be pasted into W3W. Just a thought.

This app is brilliant for completing BVi and SVi reports quickly and then having the ability to send via PDF and attach to your TEFS. Would be great if you could edit your report afterwards to add more detail etc. Yards an chains would be great too as sometimes need the exact yardage for defects etc. The industry needs more apps like this !! 10/10
