Bokay Dating : Slow the Swipe

I just got the app after seeing the Dragons’ Den episode on CBC. This app invites me to think more deeply about the dynamic of a relationship that I want with very simple questions. It has an AI dating advisor - great idea! Have not tried it yet. I wanted to “upgrade” some of the answers to questions and could not figure out how to edit. Sent a note off to the help desk and got a resolution very quickly. I have a good feeling about this company.

You must be 18 to use it but the minimum age you can set is 18. Huge design flaw. There were literally young teens on this. The allure of the hiding pics is a feature not an app. It’s buggy and verification is weak allowing anyone to go on.

I’ve used all the dating apps—tinder, hinge, raya… I was hesitant to try yet another… but Bokay is different. It’s not superficial, it’s about finding real connection, which is what I’m looking for. It’s got a beautiful design too. I’ve been exhausted from all my years of online dating… getting catfished or ghosted or just disappointed. Already on Bokay I’m having real conversations with real people and I don’t feel judged or objectified. I’m feeling really hopeful about finding the one for me here. And it’s just great to be on a dating app that feels thoughtfully created and intended for authentic, deep connection.
