Sum AI: Speech to Text Notes

I’ve tried a lot of AI transcription and summary apps, and Sum AI has become one of the tools I use almost every day. As technology evolves and I work with more video content, having a fast and simple way to capture ideas is incredibly valuable. I love that I can record a quick video when inspiration strikes, upload a video from someone teaching me something, or even capture random thoughts while doing dishes, walking, or working. Whether it’s business ideas, project concepts, book titles, websites, supplements to research, places I want to visit, songs I want to find later, or anything else that pops into my head, Sum AI helps me organize and revisit those ideas without losing them. I use AI extensively for research, information gathering, knowledge management, and content creation, and Sum AI fits seamlessly into that workflow. The app is fast, easy to use, and saves me a tremendous amount of time. If you’re constantly learning, creating, researching, or collecting ideas, it’s an excellent tool to have.

This app is not reliable. It consistently loses recordings? I have lost several critical meetings recording. after the call, I press done or pause. The meeting doesn’t save it disappears. I really wish I could like this app, the concept is nice. but I’ve lost many important meetings is just better to voice record. If you have an iPhone and upload the recording to transcribe it would probably work . However, there’s better apps out their that actually record and save the data. It’s not worth the risk. I also pay for the premium weekly subscription and I do not know the difference between the regular subscription. If I pay premium, I expect to be able to retrieve my voice notes. A waste of money.

I have tried a few transcriber apps. This is the best in accuracy and ease of use. It gets expensive to experiment with multiple apps in order to find the one with the most accurate and useful platform. This is easily used to upload a video and it quickly transcribes the dialogue with very few mistakes or deviations from what is said. When it did record in text differently than the audible, it was minor enough that it is easy to discern intent of statement. Marked time periodically creates another advantage as finding the statements on the video from which it is transcribed is easily done.
