Talksy – AI Language Learning

I wanted to use this app. It works well for what it does and is one of the few with a lifetime purchase option. As language learning is a journey of years, I purchased lifetime after trying the app but before signing up for an account. Once I created an account, my subscription was no longer recognized - not be Apple, but by the app. Logged out and it worked again. Yay! Then the app updated and it would not work at all. I suspect this is due to them tying the sub to an in app account ID and not my Apple account - but that’s just a guess. I reached out to customer service via two different email addresses and waited several days for a response...none came. It's been a week and still no reply. Thankfully Apple refunded my purchase. Functionally, it *is* a good option in this niche of AI language learning chat apps...unfortunately marred by poor support.

A fun way to learn and practice conversations on-the-go. Simple design with lots of interesting topics to choose from.
