this game is AWESOME. it has so much character put into it, it actually feels well developed and like the devs really do care and weren't just trying to make a cash grab. i REALLY appreciate the fact that you only get ads when you're prompted, when they're in exchange for a reward!! also, it feels like there's always something to do that's within reach; there's hardly ANY waiting which keeps the game from getting boring at all. my only small complaint is the subscription option with the vip membership, because $10 (A MONTH) is honestly too much for any mobile game, but that's less of an issue with this game specifically and more with mobile games as a whole. devs, THANK YOU FOR CARING!!

Ive been playing this game for about 2 weeks now, and I think its very fun. Easy to understand, the artsyle is charming and humorous, and the way the progression system works is satisfying. However, I dislike how the events work, with having such little time to complete the mines given how slow the progression there is, and the need to spend real money to get all the rewards from the cake baking event. The only thing so far that has truly frustrated me is the ranged attack fruits (dragonfruit and pomegranate, maybe more but those are the ones Ive seen so far). Having the ranged attacks is fine, however, it is made deeply annoying by how much damage they do, and how tiny and hard to see the attacks are. Its *extremely* frustrating to try and gather carrots and be hit by a stray pellet barely the size of a period that instantly kills me despite having well over 1000 health, while my workers can take dozens of pomegranate bullets and still be fine. Other than that, I truly enjoy the game and it has been filling my free time since I downloaded it recently.

**UPDATE** I emailed to directly express my concerns with the shift to unskippable ads instead of offering rewards for watching ads. Was essentially told, “we are making money though! Also please buy our no-ads package!” Even if it’s a canned response, it’s disheartening. May be skip this game if you don’t want to be disappointed.

So I found this game not too long ago, and it used to run on the model of “you can choose to run ads and we will give you a boost”. I think this method is a great way to get ad revenue while still valuing your player base. However, ever since last update ads are playing when I level up. These level ups are accomplishments that did not require an ad before. I had already completed the work to gain a level. I don’t need an ad crammed into my face.
I will go back up in stars if they stick to the “you can choose ads for boosts” model. It’s otherwise a very fun feedback loop of a game, and I love the mine event so much. If the developers continue down this road to push their “pay for no ads” strategy, I think I’ll uninstall.
