Awesome app. I have my entire collection cataloged and saved. My favorite note collection app. In the app you can save each note with a picture of the front and back, value, and specifics of the note. It even shows you a total count of each note from every country that you have. The app can also determine pretty closely the overall condition of your note. This App is very helpful and has a lot of potential. Some things that can improve in the app are as follows. •Value. The value of each bill determined by the app can be VERY far from correct. For example I have a very torn world note valued next to nothing but the app says it’s worth $1,100. Its assessment of each bills worth, is usually off by a good bit. Usually significantly over. •Note History. The app will give you a very brief, short description of each note. I would like to see more of a detailed description with some history / background to each note. This would be very helpful to new collectors. •Note Varieties. In some cases, I may have a note that I would like to add to my online collection, that when adding, the app doesn’t have it saved internally. For example I have a few older confederate notes that I tried to add, but couldn’t because the app doesn’t have them saved to choose from. So I have to choose the closest or most similar note that the app has. Maybe a feature where you can manually add a note. Or widen the available options of current saved internal notes within the app.
This app is excellent! Cool descriptions of each banknote and different options for how to organize your collection. Highly recommend! My one criticism is that the app doesn’t always properly document the serial numbers if they are in different languages. Could possibly be user error, but it’s not a real concern for me as I’m more interested in collecting banknotes for the art and history than any type of rare anomalies. And this app far surpasses my needs there and includes some great articles on the hobby as well.
This is not a negative review but more like a progress report. First up, the app is way to basic for the fee they are charging. The app has potential but for now when you scan a note (because you can’t enter or search, which is a huge flaw) it just gives you a very very generic answer. Sometimes it gives you the same answer over and over and over for different notes. I find that suspicious. This app can be great but still has a long way to go. I’ll give it until my next renewal and if there are no significant improvements then I’ll cancel before payment. I don’t expect huge differences as I understand that this app is a work in progress and needs a lot of updating but if they are showing that they are heading in the right direction I’ll keep it for another year.
