Rove: Guam Ride Hailing

First time in Guam and I was advised to use the Rove App. The ride was amazing. The driver/owner was very patient and super nice. I definitely will recommend Rove if you’re in Guam.

The night before an early flight we (a passenger and her daughter from another cancelled flight) asked the hotel to arrange a ride to the airport. They called someone (not through an app) to drive us, agreeing to split our fare for $20 total. $10 for each adult. The next morning the driver told us that Rove was charging $30 upon arrival at the airport. No mention of this before picking us up. Additional $5 because it was early morning and $5 because we were splitting the fare. When we protested he threatened to drop us off back at the hotel, making us late for our flight. I took the ladies half, told the driver that it’s one fare now, and paid $25 cash. He grumbled and took the money. I had a good experience with this app before, but now I’ll never use it again.
