I said in my last review that these were some very realistic voices. I still think that the one I like is. However, I don’t know what the others sound like because I won’t play them. I just purchased 50,000 characters. I told the developer that I was sitting at -15 characters because I pushed play when the screen said “Enter Text Here” The developer assured me that if I bought text it would not be minus the 15 characters. Not only did I get charged for the 15 characters in the hole, but also the original characters you get when you first download the app and test it out. So now I start with 49,485 characters once I purchase the 50,000. Lies.
Now I also discovered that every time you just PLAY the text, you lose the characters all over again! So, if you want to hear the voices with your text to choose your favorite, it will cost you each time. Seriously! I would say it should charge you characters once you SAVE IT! Shady.
Additionally, you should be able to hear a sample of each voice anytime before you use it so it doesn’t cost you. I dropped this from 5 stars to 3 because this is not a good setup for such a good app. Careless.
Developer, Please make this more fair. And give people the option to hear a voice sample before they use it. Thank you.

You pay for a fixed number of words so if you copy and paste a large section and then delete it to reformat you lose the characters you “paid for” regardless.
