the app feels cheap. the captions aren’t postable and it’s just not a great experience. who’s posting these kind of captions? no one.

TL:DR, I don’t recommend this app at all, it functions very *very* poorly. - So first of all, it’s not a regular habit for me to write reviews, but this app is SO BAD it’s definitely an exception to the rule. You upload a photo and choose the tone you’d like to create your caption with, click generate and wait a few seconds for your results. Which is all well and good until you actually see what the app creates. In my case I was hoping to find an app for creating captions around handmade earring photos to cut down on the time it would take me to create my own (I have 44 photos to post with captions). This is not it. I don’t know how this app would apply to anyone because it is just that bad. The first photo I attempted to use was a pair of rose quartz and silver earrings on a cotton batting background with a few sprigs of greenery. After uploading the photo I then discovered there are only 7 tone categories to choose from: “Food, Travel, Nature, People, Animals, Motivation, (and) Funny”. The app automatically had Funny selected so I changed it to ‘motivation’ hoping for a semi-professional tone. What popped up was beyond anything I could have anticipated. My first round of captions were dog related with hashtags for ‘concrete’ and ‘furbaby’. Thinking I had accidentally chosen ‘animal’ I went back to try again but nope! I had not made a mistake. So I regenerated captions with the same photo and tone, this time receiving phrases about turtles and beaches with hashtags like ‘turtlepower’ ‘turtlelove’ and ‘beachlife’. So I restarted the app hoping there was just a glitch or something because changing the tone wasn’t changing the content topic of the captions or hashtags. But that didn’t change anything. I went through several rounds with the same photo all creating captions completely unrelated to the chosen picture including ‘naturephotography’ ‘butterflies’ ‘butterflymagic’ ‘crab🦀’ ‘insects’ ‘macrophotography’ ‘sunglasses’ ‘newbeginnings’ ‘keys’ etc. The only interesting thing about this app in my opinion are the apps it generated (very short one-sentenced) captions for: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Shame it doesn’t really seem to work, nor does choosing a tone for your caption matter.
