Paris Urbanist: City Guide

App was a little glitchy in the short window of the trial but the customer service has been phenomenal. I wish I was able to give more of a review on the actual app but seeing as though I have contacted Apple regarding a refund due to not being able to cancel my trial on the 3rd day, I was not able to use it extensively in the time period allotted for the trial. While using it I was logged out multiple times when I went to a certain menu and I was bombarded with “please submit a review” pop ups within 5 mins of downloading it. So, my rating would be much lower were it not for Rene. She was empathetic and communicative regarding my issues and reached out again to verify I was able to cancel the next day (day 4). I do not want to use it if Apple does refund my fee because I do believe the people responsible for this app should be compensated for their hard work and when I am going to Paris later this year I will subscribe and use it in more depth. Hopefully I will be able to update my review then. Thank you Rene for your compassion and making me feel heard!

This app has everything I need from a travel guide app, but what separates it from the rest are the historical facts and context! Always so worried about being uneducated as I ask questions, and this app helped me make sure I understand all the important facts before I show up to a site, which makes the experience even more enjoyable! The map feature was also great for discovering what’s close to us at any point of the date, we discovered an awesome wine bar using it. Download this app!

I consider myself pretty well traveled, and the thing I want when traveling is a combo of Wikipedia and TripAdvisor. I love that this gives me good information while also guiding me around a place. It’s historical, informative, and genuinely helpful in finding true hidden gems. Love it — need more cities asap.
