This app was so difficult to set up - lots of endless loops. Gave up trying to link my vehicle after about 10 attempts on two phones. Very little time given to add MFA codes or the VIN number before it timed out and you were back to the start. Very frustrating!! The charge station was also hard to use. It took several attempts to connect to the car, one time I just had a spinning wheel of death and had to just close the app. I’ve no idea how or why it started working in the end. Another user said they’d had the same problem using it first time. The charge itself was fast but more expensive than expected - although sooo much cheaper than diesel so not really complaining on that score.
Faced with parking on way to booked movie, the charger in City public car park required using this phone app. Ok let’s just get it done. But nightmare is just beginning. Scan the QRS, doesn’t actually help, need to go to App Store search for app, download it. Start accepting the permissions, needs to create a new password. Moving through, ok so far then alerts another app is trying to open this one, needs permission. It is chrome web browser so ok. Oh no it starts from the beginning again. Think it’s happening but no, wants to link to the EV, sounds reasonable, now restarts again and this time wants a different password that was originally linked to the car. Think it might connect now, but no, wants to link to a payment method. Ok this might help in the long term so let’s do it. But no, now starts again as I guess it’s timed out again. Payment method requires an authentification app to proceed the is it done? Well no. Now have to go and start the app from the beginning, I’m already plugged in, thinking this would help, but no. It starts off asking me to connect to to an area, I put in Australia. And start the app again. Now it seeks a charger near me. The map shows close by location to be the Netherlands in Europe. So I search for Perth and find Perth CBD. It does not find this particular car park, but being familiar with this city I can find it. So I did. It then brings up 2 codes for 2 different chargers, one says in use, and that turns out to be me, plugged in but not charging. So I unplug it and wait, once the charger appears clear on the app, I plug it in again and BINGO, it starts to charge. Only took up to half an hour, seeing the beginning of the movie is so over rated when you can be having such a joy of a time on your phone! I can’t wait to go through this sort of process the next time I go to the local shop to buy some milk!
Not sure why app doesn’t start at my location otherwise easy to use.
