I first stumbled across the Novel App through a writer's TikTok that went viral, showing how she used it to finish her first book, and I'm so glad I took a chance on downloading it. The app makes writing stories much easier by giving you a clean, simple space to work without any distractions getting in the way, and honestly, I've written more in the past month than I did all last year. The app comes with a helpful writing buddy that gives you good ideas about your story and characters, kind of like having a smart friend giving you advice, which has helped me get unstuck so many times. Everything stays super organized with easy-to-use folders and tags, plus all your work saves automatically to the cloud so you'll never lose your stories (learned that lesson the hard way with my old writing app!). The app shows you cool facts about your writing, like when you write the most words or what kinds of words you use a lot, which has helped me become a much better writer and actually stick to my daily writing goals.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I absolutely love this app! As an avid reader, I’ve tried multiple reading apps over the years, but this one is by far my favorite. The user interface is sleek, intuitive, and super easy to navigate. I also appreciate the personalized recommendations that feel spot-on to my tastes. I really rate this a solid 2.75/5 stars. You’ve gotta pay out the boockoos for the books. I agree with a few points made from the review that follows: The ads on TikTok are great at drawing you in until you go the app you can listen to the whole story in the ad and have nothing left to read because it was all shown in the ad. It leaves you on this big cliffhanger and then you have to pay money to finish it. I've used many apps like this and unlike this one they all had ways you could continue reading without wasting a bunch of money such as coins for checking in, coins for following them on social media sites, coins for if you read for a certain amount of time, coins for watching ads, or if you watch an ad you can go to the next chapter or a timeout limit for chapters. While the stories aren't bad the amount of money you'd have to waste is ridiculous and I think that implementing some of those would help the app
