Where's Tess

When it comes to otomes and dating sims I always feel more drawn to only a couple or even just one of the love interests, so when I found that I was completely infatuated by every single one of the characters I was surprised. The game play is very unique in terms of dating sims, because so many dating sim try to imitate the big three in terms of game play(ikeman series, mystic messenger, obey me) it becomes very boring an unoriginal when you have to battle through levels, wait a full day to get tickets to read, or have the story progress solely through text messages, so “Where’s Tess” unique approach to game play where you have to take photos and gain followers was nice change. With the game’s female love interest, Holly, I was surprised as to how well written she was. With dating sims and especially new gens they often have one female love interest who was clearly written in for diversity points, I didn’t feel this way with Holly though. I absolutely loved her character and I loved how her’s and Tess’s relationship was written. Also being able to just buy an entire season for 0.99$ is amazing, not to mention the early game packs you can buy to help you progress is also one of the best things about this game. Overall this game is worth checking out despite the little amount of reviews it has.

I love this game! The art is gorgeous, the storyline is good, and you don’t have to pay to unlock content. Also, I love that I can spend just $0.99 to unlock a whole season, and the packs to get crowns and gems are super affordable, if you tend to spend money on games. Other story based games are so expensive, and if you have to wait hours to unlock just one chapter, it becomes boring. I love the characters and the storylines. There is so much content as well, so you can spend hours and hours playing this game. I also really enjoy the social media aspect. The posts are so cute, and I enjoy them a lot!!

Shiro here! For a while, I was searching for a nice otome game to play. Unfortunately, I could find none that weren’t low-quality or not very f2p friendly. Then, I came across Where’s Tess. Don’t let the number of reviews deter you from downloading this game, because it is a gem. You don’t need to spend dozens of dollars just to play the game; no, it’s very playable, even if you don’t spend any money. The art is pretty nice, and I like how they have also given us a female love interest for all those woman-lovers out there. It has social media elements and the like, such as uploading pictures and your “popularity” or “fame” being increased by a varying amount, depending on the types of clothes you choose to wear and if you can also successfully complete the little side mini-games you can do. There is one issue I have with this game, though. I think that for the ads that you watch to gain rewards from, you could shorten their length, because I often find myself sitting and waiting for fifteen minutes or so to get all of the ad rewards because of lag and the ads being rather lag. But don’t get me wrong, I definitely like that this feature is included. Also, I’m on chapter five as of now, and every time the screen fades to white, the app crashes. However, that is likely because of my device being old and not because of the application itself, so I won’t place any of the blame onto the developers. But maybe they could change the white-screen transition into something else, like the background fade they did in all the prior chapters. If not, that’s perfectly fine; it’s an issue for minorities such as me. Overall, I definitely recommend this game for people that like dating sims such as Episode, but I also just recommend it in general. Give it a try!
