Reviews: What People Think About Rescue Me CPR!

Just a side note if you could have x in corner to get out of app. Or a “done” button for when 911 takes over. I couldn’t seem to get thru or stop the compressions.

Let me start by saying I am never moved to write a review but I would be so remiss if I didn’t for this app. The doctor who developed this was just on the evening news. He deserves more credit than there are words for. To finally develop something like this that is a life saving tool for both an opioid overdose and heart failure is life changing for so many of us. Because of his interest in his children and asking questions and finding out that they saw someone overdose at a party he asked what would have helped in the situation. They said an app. At that moment he said he would make one and here it is. Kudos to you doctor.

This free app is made for anybody to use it as a must have an English phone. It runs you through the individual critical steps needed treat someone who might need CPR. The timing is set exactly the pace that you need to do all the CPR steps from trying to wake the patient up to calling 911 to starting chest compressions. The App was developed by an expert anesthesiologist. It is a lifesaver and can help you take care of any of your family or friends who might develop serious medical problems need CPR. Strongly recommend.
About Rescue Me CPR!
While a variety of applications exist to provide educational resources for teaching CPR and assistance tools for those who have already been educated in CPR, this application is a tool to provide untrained people with a guide on how to perform adequate CPR that can be followed-along-with during an emergency situation. This application was developed for and is currently being assessed at the UCSD School of Medicine through an IRB approved study for effectiveness at being able to coach untrained individuals through performing life-sustaining CPR. As the study is not complete and the application is currently for educational and demonstrational purposes only, not to be used in an emergency situation.

The application also features instructions on when/how to perform the Heimlich maneuver and to administer Narcan to reverse an opioid overdose.
