Challenges Aid

This app has been great to help me find at a glance what my progress is toward the monthly Apple Fitness challenge. It is also the best place to find out about the pop up challenges that Apple sometimes has. When I switched phones recently, the app wouldn’t work properly. I emailed the developer on a weekend. He is in a time zone 7 hours away from mine, and he answered within 20 minutes. He said since reading my email, he had already figured out the problem and submitted an update of the app to Apple. The update was expedited and I was back up and running in less than 24 hours. I’m sure he can’t always work that quickly, but wow! I’m really glad to have Challenges Aid!

Been using this app for a while to keep track of these challenges. Overall, a good app. Very motivating. Docked one star because: 1) monthly challenges do not automatically add to history after dismissing the monthly summary and 2) the watch app (work-in-progress) has never updated a challenge from one month to the next Since V2 just came out, these two items might be fixed, but I won’t know until July.

This app is great if you just want a simple way to track the current month’s challenge without having to wade through the Apple Fitness app. After a year of use, the history feature has never worked for me, though. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to prompt me or do it automatically, but neither has ever happened.
