Jigsaw Puzzles for Adults HD

So years ago I downloaded this version of the game and paid for it! I paid to rid myself of ads and it was good. I enjoyed the greatest, as I thought it was, the ability to create my own puzzles with my own pics from my own library to share with others. It lasted for 10 pics only. I enjoyed the many free puzzles there after and every week usually Wednesday’s a new set was released for free and it was good. Somewhere along the way I would buy for real money puzzle packs with the kinds of pictures I loved! …but eventually I grew a bit bored and stopped my almost daily obsession. I changed devices I didn’t download the app from the cloud and time marched on…until. A newest newier iPad showed me the latest version of this app and it is good. Different. It is better. I can make as many freaking puzzles of my own if I want- I can’t yet share them, I have maybe not figured that out yet. I paid the few $’s to rid myself of ads(there was no way to restore previous purchases for this the new version) Many many many free puzzle sets are available for quick downloads, so it’ll be great going forward. I’m a puzzler. I’m quick and it helps greatly for my genius. It makes me better as a business man and as a traveler not just to pass time but to work my mind and balance colors in my retinas. Not kidding. THIS is what a lot of people need. No stress enjoyment. Go for it! Get it!

Today my puzzles began the bottom tray, with no Setting to choose the side tray. The playing area is smaller, but I saw that I could set a multi-piece puzzle part on the side area. The narrow top strip may have done the same but I never tried it. I agree with others that taking a peek should not obscure the entire board. I will get used to the bottom tray but would still appreciate a Setting for it. I had finally got used to Pause being at top right, now it’s at bottom left again! How I use this game. At midnight I check the free puzzle and either get it or skip it. I would really like labels on some of the travel photos! Then I begin the puzzle and pause after partially completing it. I search the In Progress for a similar puzzle and complete that one instead. If I pause that one too I can see them side by side to admire and compare. And I may choose the new one to finish after all, or save them both for later. I currently have over 100 in progress, and must give some up to make space on my iPad. Thanks for a great app! Jan 2, 2023: After an update some time ago, the daily puzzle is accessible with a tap, months of puzzles. It’s no longer get it today or lose it. This changes the game a lot! I see ads for this game while playing other games. The ads show terrific pictures, even animated ones! Seriously? Beautiful ads, but not very realistic. I like that I can choose as low as 12 pieces so the grandkids can play.

When I first started playing Jigsaw HD, I loved it. I was very pleased with its performance and puzzle choices. After I played for awhile and purchased several puzzle packs, the performance drastically went down hill on my iPad Pro. The lag was impossible when moving puzzle pieces. The movement was jerky, slow, and very frustrating. I have to close the app and reopen for the pieces to move properly, but that fix only lasts for a few minutes. I’ve also tried rebooting my iPad Pro, and again that only lasts for a little while. So in an hour of playtime, I have to continually do one or both of these actions to continue playing. It’s bad enough dealing with all the ads, but the poor performance on my iPad Pro is a show stopper. I have similar problems on an older iPhone, but the newer iPad Pro performance is even worse. I was actually getting ready to purchase the ad-free option, but that is no longer an option for me. I would delete this app on both of my devices if I had not purchased puzzles. I will try to play the ones I have, and then quit. I would also add, no other app displays poor performance on my devices like these puzzles. Had this not happened, I would have given it 5 stars. And I’ve researched this issue on your app, and I’m not the only one with this complaint. If you ever address and fix this option, I might reconsider my position. But as long as people have been reporting this issue, it should have already been addressed and fixed.
