Tide Chart USA

I live in San Diego and it’s really useful to know what is going on with the tide any time you plan a trip to the beach. If you check tide information every time you go to the beach you start to notice the effects. This gives you a level of awareness about what is going on that helps with so many decisions. How far to go out if you are swimming. When to go to the beach if you want to walk around a jetty that is sometimes submerged. Surfing, kayaking, swimming… so many activities you will understand the environment better by knowing what the tide is doing.

I live and work in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay area. I needed an app that would tell me when the tides were high and low because I like to go for walks along the water during high tide. Low tide around here smells really, really bad. I chose the Alameda, CA readings, and have never been disappointed. For me, it’s spot on. So if you’re just needed to know when it doesn’t stink out there with regards to the tides, this app is for you!

Seems pretty accurate if you have the right location set and the graphics are good for scrolling and watching the pattern or seeing what's happening. But... I wish it would show me data about the current condition / where the red line is. And it lets me touch and hold to put a red line up, but again no info. The calendar is nice for the moon, but why not have an option to show high/low tide levels? And setting location is a bit tedious. Do I have the closest one? Maybe it could offer a list sorted by distance?
