I think this app is derelict, maybe last updated in 2014. No demo, so you can't see that it doesn't work until you buy the app... Doesn't work at all. Have an OBDLink MX+ adapter. It's compatible with iOS and is a high performance, high speed and thoroughly compatible adapter. This app doesn't detect or connect to it, yet I can slide right over to the free "Car Scanner" app and it snaps right up. It's also got some extremely crusty, landscape UI that hijacks the phone orientation and makes it hard to escape (relocating the "home" swipe gesture). And then I spent the next 20+ minutes fighting through layers of support to get a refund. Definitely stay away from this abandoned app!
Ok. It works with LeLink and it works with custom PIDs. I wish for a way to delete the default screens I donโt use (I have an EV) and more screens with smaller blocks for more data on the screen. Iโve heard thereโs a new app on the block for iOS that does what this does.
The app definitely works. Except I donโt get the codes showing in this app that I get when I take it to the automotive store. Iโm guessing because it uses a generic OBDII list of trouble codes. I have P0327 which is a knock sensor low input that doesnโt show in this app. I also have an ABS sensor and and YAW sensor malfunction that doesnโt show up in Engine Link.
