This App has functioned fairly for most of my daily banking needs except for one major flaw. Whenever I want to request for account statement it doesn't provide a calendar to select the beginning and end dates. It only provides a space to manually type in date values which leads to errors. You wouldn't know which format is acceptable e.g DD/MM/YY OR MM/DD/YY etc

Bia GTBank, is it that you guys haven't noticed or you don't have technical brains to resolve this issue that occurs when one tries to make transfer and it shows transaction in progress, sometimes the transfer won't go and it goes ahead to debit my account, sometimes the transfer will go and sometimes it won't go and won't debit and this part makes you want to repeat clicking send the second time which would be in turn either push the transfer twice and the receiver gets double credit, or I'll have double error debit, or I'll have one failed and one credit to the receiver account.
This is so annoying, it means you won't really know what to expect while making a transfer. And it started since early this year. I have never noticed this ever since I started relying on GTBANK APP. Please you guys should fix this or you shutdown the service. Period!!
You are making me loose money and you barely automatically reverse failed transaction without a complain to customer service and I barely have such time.

This app has worked fairly for a while. But since the beginning of this year. February in particular, to make interbank transactions has become next to impossible. I can now login to the app after using ussd for most part of the year. I thought GTBank was different from other Nigerian banks but boy was I wrong. Man cannot even fund sportybet and play bets. This joke has to stop in this country. Fidelity bank cannot have network issues and GTBank will also follow as if they are on the same level. You have to wake up by 3am in the morning to do a transfer to another bank. Right now its 12:29am I wanted to send my guy money cuz he’s kinda broke right now. But my bro has to wait till 3am to get the money on a probability less than 0.2 that the transfer will even go. Right now I’m really pained and I will advice everyone who sees this review to please MOVE YOUR MONEY AWAY FROM NIGERIAN BANKS. Thank you

The GTBank Mobile App allows you:

To get started:
• Visit your App store, search for ‘GTBank’ and click the download/install button.
• Launch the App and input your User ID and password.
• If you do not have a password you may dial *737*6*5# from your registered mobile phone for your login details. And if you have forgotten your password, please click “Forgot Password?” on the login page to reset your password.
• At first login, you will be asked to verify your device. If this is your preferred device, please select 'Yes' and choose a transaction method (PIN or Token).
• If PIN is selected, you will be required to agree with the Terms of Use and create a PIN which you will be using to complete your transactions instead of a token. Please note that you can always switch between PIN or token at any time by simply going to the Settings Menu of the mobile app.
• A 5-digit secure code will be sent to your registered mobile phone via SMS to verify your device. If you do not receive this message please generate a code from your hardware token or dial *737*7# from your registered phone number to obtain a one-time verification code. You can also call GTConnect on 08039003900 or 08029002900 for the verification code.
• Enter this code in the app and your mobile phone will be successfully verified against your account profile. Now you can start using the App. Please note that this is required only when using a device for the first time.
• If you chose to use the token as your preferred means of verifying your transactions, you will also be sent the 5-digit secure code via SMS to verify your device for the first time. Enter this code and your mobile phone will be successfully verified against your account profile. You will then be able to start using the GTBank Mobile App with your hardware or 737 Token.
• Please note that you are not restricted to any device. All you need do at the first login is to select “No! This device is not mine” from the device verification screen.
