If you want to use the SCB app and live abroad, stay away from it since it needs OTP to unlock the app and register important features such as face scan.
I already contact the customer service, and they cannot even help you unlock or purpose any permanent solution to this problem. Once I come back to Thailand, I will close the SCB account and open it from other banks.

This bank is making my life harder than it should be. It is the only bank application that cannot be transferred to the new phone when you are abroad no matter what you do!! Other banks have already had ways out for this problem and made it safe. But, you guys have this problem for over a year and still can’t or won’t fix it. Maybe learn this from other banks! And, don’t ask the customers to use their old phone because it could be broken and that’s why we need a new phone. Just make it work already! It’s good when it works. But, there is a plenty of room for improvement!

This app does most things pretty well. I find it easier to use than their website. The bill payments could be better integrated. Two of the three that I need to make payments don’t work. I don’t know if it’s a flaw in the design or if I’m supposed to register (if I am, there should be a message telling me). Otherwise, I’ve been a big fan of this app, and its improving updates, for several years.
