As a high school student trying to advance into different subjects, I feel like the teachers are the best part about this service. They provide very concise and good material. Though, the app executes it poorly. I feel like Brightstorm should add these features:
•Eliminate video bugs (tilting and having the screen go black, the playback bar on the bottom not working)
•Eliminate the bug where not all the topics show (with the paid account)
•Add progress page - This page should include what topics you have watched and what topics you should watch next.
•Improve the order of showing the material - Some topics are introduced in a weird order and don't go along with normal high school curriculums
•Delete all separate apps for the topics! - This is making Brightstorm lose a lot of potential revenue in costumers by giving it up for free in apps
•Improve the overall stability of the app - There are constant bugs everywhere
To fix these problems:
•Add a standard playback video player (Apple's integrated video player) instead of using the hosted one from your webpage
•Progress bar should show what the student has already watched, what the student should watch, and ask what the student still needs help on. This way you can also directly see from the app the students that are struggling with certain topics and adjust/change the videos accordingly
