I absolutely love this app, and use it every day, multiple times. I’ve always been impressed at the wealth of features included by the developer; pretty much anything you can think of (and more) is in here, and works intuitively! I’m so grateful for the recent update that fixes the ability to backup to Google, iCloud, etc. (It stopped working some time back due to changes made by Google, which affected all the backup options.) Works perfectly now; I just backed up almost 3,000 audio files to iCloud, and then to Google Drive. Then confirmed that all files are backed up and functional. Another issue I’d had in the past is now fixed, though not mentioned: When recording, then Pause, then resume, I used to find that everything beyond the first pause was distorted. Now that aspect works perfectly, which will save me from needlessly creating new files just to avoid the distortion. There are some other improvements as well in the latest update, such as including the displaying of note names while you’re recording. For most things I record, it goes by too rapidly, and it can’t determine chords - just note names and octave number. But it can be useful if playing or singing a melody into the recorder, and can be a reminder of what key you were playing or singing in during the recording as well. Again, many thanks to the developer for creating, and recently updating Voice Record Pro. It’s been a while since any previous update, but I’m thrilled to announce that we have not been abandoned!!
Best recorder I’ve ever used for a mobile device. Has either a simple or advanced interface to allow either fast and easy recording on the fly or in-depth options from format WAV/MP3/AAC to silence detection and more with the advanced recording engine. After that there is nearly every conceivable method of transferring or uploading files to anywhere, every cloud service, FTP, WiFi server, WebDav, USB transfer with iTunes, and more. None of it is complicated. For example the WiFi server is started with the push of a button and you can access your recordings on any computer/mobile web browser by entering the provided URL. You can then transfer—upload or download—and even delete them off your phone if desired. There’s a small ad at the bottom which is the only aspect of the free version, otherwise it’s fully functional. I love it so much I might pay to rid of the little ad, but mostly just support the development and say thanks by purchasing. If there is any possible feature missing you should probably go buy an expensive external recorder that would also include all the features this little app has. As far as mobile device recording features and quality, this has pretty much all you could ask for.
I’am a lifelong musician and have been the recording person for every session since 1970 that I’ve played with. Reel to Real - cassettes- multitracks recorders- Digital decks. Just as a backup I downloaded your FREE app and started just leaving the phone wherever I could find a nitch in the session. I don’t know how this app works but y’all must have put magic mixer monkeys from George Martin’s garage in there cause the recording is usually perfect ! Press the button and your off. The added feature of date and time is great also! Ok point in case, we have a large studio that we meet at and have improvisational jams in the wee hours. We have the state of the art and vintage gear to record with. We had a 35 minute jam that we had to listen to, we gather to listen and realize that the kick drum mic and the Bass mic were basically off and the room mic was too high. Not a great recording, we were sad ! So just as a thought I said I recorded it with “ VOICE RECORD PRO” ! We hooked up my phone and everyone was stunned, the mix was near perfect and sounded great! We all laughter at, us in a million dollar studio listening to an App that trumped the studio! Thank you so much for this app, you guys rock !
