My Korean isn’t the best, but the app is fairly easy to use. As long as you’re able to set it up properly, future orders are fairly easy to make. Some restaurants might cancel your order or call you after accepting it, so just be warned that you should know how to communicate with them if this happens. Otherwise, great app and so convenient :)
Update: they just sent me a message saying “it’s confirmed there is no room (my room number) in your building”. This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever experienced with any customer service ever. Utterly unacceptable. Not only was I not able to get food this time, I’m also in a bad mood. I just ordered from a new restaurant and I never get the food, nor any call from them. However, I was asked to either pay extra delivery fee or, according to their “company regulations,” be banned from using Yogiyo. Well I’m not paying for someone else’s mistake. Goodbye yogiyo, I won’t miss it! I’m pretty sure this can not just be because I’m a foreigner. Yogiyo apparently don’t account for the behaviors of their restaurants and delivery stuff on their own platform. I ordered about 5 or 6 times with the same address and phone number without a problem with delivery. I have a Korean number. They usually call me when they arrived. No problem. Yet, this time the new restaurant can not deliver, and they blame it on me! I’d give a zero star if it’s possible.
This app has terrible customer service. I was charged twice the delivery fee because apparently the delivery man called me 5 times but I didn’t receive a single call. I get calls just fine and I was even able to call the restaurant with this foreign iPhone with sim card. I’m assuming something went wrong with the connection because it’s a foreign phone? Either way, the restaurant told me to talk to customer service for the app, but there’s no answer. I can speak Korean but trying to explain this while the other side is using big words is beyond me. Anyway, I received my cold, bland food after paying twice the delivery fee. A good $16 for a pad thai... this would not happen in America with food delivery apps. They would have given me an apology at the least, and probably a full refund. Unless you are a native fluent Korean this app is a definite no go.
