Really simple great app to know about where to start with where to place and how many briquettes to use. Especially for beginners and people new to dutch oven camp cooking, the only caveat is that depending upon altitude, wind, humidity, you might adjust a briquette up or down, but thats what experience is for and experience is fun in the camp kitchen
needed to get my coal count accurate and your app helped a lot! most information only went to 350 degrees F so higher temp baking wasn’t an option. I will be letting my DO cooking group know about this app!
I have used this app multiple times and with great success. Mostly when it comes to baking breads as temp control is pretty key for that. Granted, you can always look up the info online regarding coal numbers and placement, but it's killer having it all in a little free app on your phone. Highly recommend it.
