List Master - Your Lists

I love the options in this app. I can’t mention them all but I’ll mention one I use all the time. I have 3 grocery shopping lists: a master, a “to-buy” and a “bought” list. I select an item from the master list (which is sorted and indexed) and based on the list option “when checked” it’s moved to the to-buy list. when I’m shopping and I get the item I select it on the to-buy list and it gets moved to the “bought” list. At the end I can visually look at the bought list to make sure I didn’t fat finger an item on the to-buy list and missed buying it. When I select items from the bought list they’re moved back to the master list. Neat. I’m using the list options “when checked” to move items from one list to another. Nothing is lost. I love that.

Read my lips- EMAIL IS NOT AN APPROPRIATE VEHICLE FOR IMPORT/EXPORT. Email is NOT secure. This app should therefore never be used to store sensitive information because you can’t transfer it in and out of your tablet securely. If it wasn’t for that, it’d be fabulous because otherwise the simplicity and interface are well designed and easy to use. This shouldn’t be a difficult feature to add- allow import/export to/from local files on the tablet which can then be transferred securely via other apps or iOS features. But this isn’t the only developer who overlooked this important feature, it’s all too common, unfortunately.

I like and enjoy the concept of this app more than using the app. I need to keep track of a lot of things. I am blind, so I don’t ‘write’ things down, but rather type everything. I want this to be the only app needed for keeping track of all the things I do, but every time I use it there seems to be some frustration. For the sighted, I would think this app is a 4 or 5 star app. For me it just seems to be a continuous headache to use. Get it, try it. The dev is responsive and cares about the app and users. I just have to start looking for a replacement.
