The charting tools on this platform are a complete joke. As someone who relies on technical analysis, they are unusable. Trying to apply a simple indicator like a moving average requires navigating through three separate pop-up windows. Once you do, customizing its parameters (like the period length) is done via a tiny, unresponsive slider. Drawing trendlines is even worse; they don't snap to candles properly, and half the time, they disappear when you switch between timeframes. I can’t save my chart layouts, so I have to re-apply all my indicators and drawings every single time I log in. It’s an inefficient, buggy mess that makes proper analysis impossible. A chart is a trader's most important tool, and this app has provided its users with a broken one.
The push notifications are dangerously unreliable. I have alerts set for price movements on key stocks I am watching. Half the time, they don't come through at all. The other half, they are delayed by several minutes. A price alert that arrives five minutes late is completely useless for any trader. Today, I got an alert that a stock had crossed my target price. I opened the app to sell, only to see the price had already hit that target ten minutes ago and had since fallen significantly. I'm relying on these alerts to make timely decisions, and their failure means I am constantly missing my best exit points, which costs me a lot of money over time. Every update breaks everything, so annoing
I’ve found CMC Spread Bet to be a very robust trading platform which is easy to navigate. It has great charting facilities with many configuration options. It’s easy to place trades and adjust stop losses. Bid/ask spreads are competitive. A huge range of products are available. More recent features such as Trade Analytics are helpful although it lacks a feature keeping track of trade costs. I trust this platform to perform well.
