I have been using WSPR Watch since its beginning and was a beta tester until Apple’s advances in their IOS went beyond my budget for new machines. Peter’s product is nothing short of perfection, support for a free product is beyond any expectations. I am now using a QRP-Labs U4B @ 20mW (yes 20mW) to study my antenna builds and propagation in general. The responses from Peter to my questions or problems were only delayed due to the time distance from USA to Australia. Fantastic program.

The main website has definitely got some issues related to the Google maps API. Even when I added an API key that was issued to me, it’s still did not work correctly. This implementation uses Apple maps and loads perfectly. I typically load this on my iPad when I’m testing an antenna, or just checking propagation in general. I highly recommend trying this app.

WSPR Watch has become my most frequently used amateur radio related app. It brings the world of WSPR beacon spots right into your iOS device in a clean, intuitive, easy to visualize format. The app screens look great on smaller iPhone but absolutely fantastic on the larger iPad. Developer is super responsive and continually working on feature upgrades and improvements.
