Phase Contract Rummy

I purchased the Pro edition long ago but use only the original game, not Masters. There were a couple of things I didn’t care for, most annoying was the scoring that flashed up my score for a moment but showed the other bot players’ score until the ‘play’ button was tapped. New update: Just updated so I had to wade through lots of flashy new tricks. When I could finally play my game, I was treated to a new screen with noticeably smaller cards - harder to see, harder to slide the cards. The cards played are stacked so that they’re not really visible - you just have to accept that it’s an viable group and move on. I’m not seeing my bot opponents’ scores anymore. That screws with strategy since I don’t play like a computer when selecting players to Skip. Three hands in and I don’t care if I play again. I’ll revisit some day, but this was my go-to game for quick entertainment. I do hope enough people like it that the developers earn dollars. I’m no loss, but I’m disappointed.

***UPDATE 2/5/19*** Some improvements have been made, especially regarding the ads. Thank you!! My newest complaint is that it has crashed about 4 times in less than an hour, and freezes while trying to load. Also, the computer opponents still win way too easily. My own hand and having to draw cards to try to make my phase is realistic, but the speed at which the opponents make their phase and “go out” is not at all realistic...and this is on the easy setting. Please make the opponents playing abilities more realistic on the easy setting and fix the bugs! Biggest complaint: FAR too many adds on the free version! The most frustrating thing is that they pop up during the middle of playing a hand! Like, I might play my turn and then an ad pops up WHILE the computer players take their turns and I cannot even see what those 'people' do during their turn! Sometimes they even go out and I return from the dumb ad to find that the hand is over and that it all happened during the ad! Most games with ads, the ads don't pop up until after finishing a hand or a round or whatever. These randomly pop up while still playing, and they pop up OFTEN. Not just every 5-10 minutes...more like every 1-2 minutes. I can't even decide if I like the game enough to pay for the ad-free version because I cannot play it long enough due to the constant, random pop-up ads! And sometimes the ad takes a long time to load or even freezes. Incredibly frustrating. Let's please limit this to a reasonable amount of ads that only pop up after a hand is finished! Other complaint: even when playing on the "easy" setting, the computer wins about 90% of the time. Games are more fun when you can at least win sometimes! It probably would be really fun if I could win more than 1 out of every 10 games (esp. on the easy setting)...or if I could even finish a game, what with all the obnoxious ads I get.

I really like the game and how everything is set up. The only thing I would like to change is being able to put the cards in your own hand the way you want them too. I know you can shuffle them and put them in order but when I need a run and a set. If I have my run but don’t have my set yet, I like to kinda put my run together already so I know whats left I need to get or play. There were multiple times I had the phase I needed but couldn’t really tell because it was jumbled up in a way I didn’t like. That’s the only downside I’ve seen so far.
