Overall, decent app with decent performance but whenever you go to leave a tip &amp; say your card was still locked or it had the tip selected with one of the multiple choices already without you realizing &amp; your card is locked or you dont have enough in your account it will not let you use the app to book a new ride until you “pay off the balance” but by then I gave my driver a cash tip since I did not have enough on my card to cover the tip plus not realizing that I would have to pay the tip twice no matter what if I wanted to book any future rides again through the Lyft App. I tried to suspect the transaction through the app and had few options as to why the amount was wrong but it would not refund me back my money besides $1.12 or how much ever cents for “adjusting the ride payment” so was very upset and disappointed once that happened and couldn’t get it resolved at all. Besides that nothing bad to say so if at all possible they need to change that setting and if the transaction doesn’t go through for the full amount then it just needs to start over the payment options not freeze your account until you pay off that balance when in reality the ride was already paid for it pops up after you get dropped off to rate your driver then tip them so it froze my account over a OPTIONAL TIP! I find that very upsetting &amp; yall lucky to of gotten 5 stars from me STILL but like I said outside from that I’ve had zero issues.

I&#39;ve been using Lyft regularly through Medicaid as a person with disabilities who doesn&#39;t drive, and I’ve consistently maintained a 4.9-star rider rating. Recently, my account was deactivated without warning after a driver falsely reported that I was underage. This claim was completely untrue. Lyft’s Safety Team contacted me asking for a copy of my ID to prove my age, but my mother and I were uncomfortable providing sensitive information due to serious concerns about Lyft’s data security. When we expressed these concerns, Lyft provided no reassurance or alternative solution and refused to help us resolve the issue. We felt this situation—and the way it was handled—was discriminatory toward riders with disabilities. Unfortunately, issues with Lyft seem to arise every couple of months, and it&#39;s exhausting to navigate. I may not &#34;look&#34; or act like what people expect from someone with disabilities, but that shouldn’t justify mistreatment or false accusations. It seems like Lyft is giving the Drivers too much power to hold over the riders. We tried filing a complaint through Medicaid and asked Lyft how to escalate our concern, but got nowhere. If I didn’t rely on Lyft to get to work, we wouldn&#39;t be using the service at all. The way Lyft handled this situation was inappropriate and dismissive, especially for a rider who has consistently followed the rules and depends on the service for basic daily needs.

Decided to Lyft a try for scheduled pickup at 4am for the airport. Lyft had a $100 guarantee with it. Made the scheduled pickup two days prior and got a confirmed driver. Checked to make sure there were no problems each day. Same driver confirmed each day. Checked again at 3:30am on the day of travel - still confirmed. Checked at 3:53am to see how long until the driver arrived. It took a couple seconds for the info to load and it said driver cancelled, looking for drivers. I waited until after 4am and the app was still looking for drivers. I had to wake up a relative and have them drive me the 1.5 hours to the airport. I whole purpose with a scheduled driver is so I would be looking for a driver at 4am, when none are available. After getting to the airport, I was told there was not a guarantee until I provided a pic from the app. Then was told it would have to be escalated. That was over a week ago with no response from Lyft since. They did offer a $5 credit- ridiculous. LYFT should not offer scheduled rides if they cannot follow through with the promise!!!!!! Also follow through with you guarantee. LYFT is fine for getting around town BUT never rely on them for an important ride. Totally unreliable!!!!! should be a zero star for that trip. Worse part I can’t even rate the driver that left me stranded!!!!!
