This music controller gets right what most similar apps get wrong. It remembers your browsing place on the server when you leave and come back to the app, it keeps the queue playing when in the background, and it provides a clean but album cover rich interface. Unfortunately a few glitches detract from the experience. Volume and track position don't work, though maybe that's to be blamed on my BubbleUPnP renderer intermediary. All tracks are reported as ALAC in the UI, even if they are actually aac or something else. Genres are not read from Plex media server, and behavior with Minim server is rather, er, funky. Still, a very solid effort.

...to get to 5 stars. One of those is the ability to play a song in the middle of an album and have the following tracks continue to play (just like if you were in Tidal or Qobuz app). Otherwise really good app so far.

I have tried JRemote, Audirvana+ Remote, mConnect, iPeng and linn Kazoo. LUMIN App remains my favorite. With a properly set up NAS running Minimserver this app simply cannot be beat. Single page control, play queue control options, auto font adjustment, regular updates, great support from LUMIN all contribute to unsurpassed customer experience. I have been using this App, off and on since 2013 and always return to it.
