I’ve relied on this app a long time. Haven’t stepped into a bank in forever. A month ago I had so much trouble logging in w/ a new phone. It was super frustrating. I couldn’t execute mobile deposits anymore. The app kept telling me it needed to “verify” my log in & would send me to the online site to log in. I called customer support. After following advice to delete app, reinstall, it’s been working for the last 3 weeks. Its super convenient again & I guess the app bugs have been worked out -just as the BOH CSR said it would. I’m crossing my fingers it continues to work! I’m keeping it at 4 stars in case the app malfunctions again.

Easiest bank to bank with by far. Hassle free transactions and quick service. Their ATMs inside and out are nearly never out of service and if they are, the tellers are quick and to the point to allow fast deposits and withdrawals. The APP is also the most well put together app among all the bank apps. I can transfer between my accounts in seconds, deposit checks on the fly and the app is only under maintenance once or twice a YEAR. This app and this bank is clearly the superior bank. If you’re not banking with Bank of Hawaii; hwaii not?!

I had a problem with BOH app before because it cannot verify my mobile number for unknown reason. I hated the fact that you need to go to the bank first to tell them that you wanted to have the BOH app activated unlike other banks. Anyway to cut the long story short, I was frustrated with the app so I ended up deleting the app and used the online website instead.
Then recently, the bank teller told me that the app is working good now in our place, so I downloaded it again. I was amazed with the simplicity and beauty of the app.
Well done BOH! ☺️
