All the insignificant features this app offers are not worth paying for. This app would have more value if you could learn grammar without having to commit to a monthly subscription. You can easily find this information for free online, free flashcards on Quizlet, or perhaps looking through your high school English notes. With one monthly purchase of this app, you can buy a cheap English work- or text-book without having to fork up more money. This app is not worse the money, it's too basic. An improvement would be if they offered useful basic information free and extras like linguistics, etymology, how this word can teach you more languages, cultural nuances, connotation, etc. This is basically Quizlet but you're more limited even when you pay. Perhaps, one day, an update may be just a 1-time purchase to get content that does seem worth purchasing but it is not worth it at all, especially if you stack it up with other apps.

I am an aspiring English teacher and this has already taught me a lot. My problem is that I don't understand the payment options. Instead of paying per level you pay per month. This seems very expensive to me.

I made a one-year subscription thinking they would take the money monthly but they took a whole year's worth. Is there a way to cancel my subscription and retrieve the money?
