I've taught adults who have developmental disabilities for almost 40 years. This is a fantastic, easy to use app for helping individuals maintain and improve their spelling skills. There are also several ready-made word lists that you can download.
A drawback is there is not a function to email weekly/ periodic results for file and tracking.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this app. As an Assistive Technology Professional, I usually download the new apps from RJ Cooper when they come out so that I'm familiar with them. My four year old daughter found this one, and is enthralled. She is beginning to spell some sight words I put in for her and learning for fun! This is so easily customizable on so many levels! This is a great app for individuals with and without disabilities. Parents will love it for practicing spelling words. The major thing I wish was that there was a password on the teacher controls and any editing functions, as well as to assign word lists. Down the road, it might also be nice to share word lists with other users-even though it might take away some of the customization, the ease of importing basic lists like sight words might be appealing to many folks.
