The Newport Folk App has got to be the greatest app ever designed. The guy who designed the app has to be a genius. Year after year it works perfectly. Whatever they are paying him is not nearly enough.
Great app, The artist info is so helpful. Map need better icons so it is possible to match to the legends. Better use of colors and simple geometric shape. With three finger tap, it is obvious that detail is not there.
I saw so many people using this app over the weekend. I really like the countdown until an artist was scheduled to begin their set...very useful. It loaded quickly and had beautiful graphics. The notifications and news sections seemed somewhat redundant but all in all a very good app that went above and beyond my expectations.
