Words By Post

My friend and I play Words by post all the time and it will intermittently once she plays will not Notify me that she has played so that I can play and then when I play it won’t notify her that it’s her turn and it could be anywhere from an hour to six hours before we finally get at work and we don’t know what it is that we’re doing that’s making that happen. I have turned my phone off and on. I just deleted the app and reinstalled it again and I’m still getting the same there must be some kind of bug or something because I have notification on for this game

Started playing this years ago on Windows Phone (RIP), shortly before starting Words With Friends. I’m still playing this now that I’m on my 3rd iPhone (and my phones last 2-3 years)! Ditched WWF years ago. I can go back and see the results of every game I’ve played, as well as conversations! I’ve never experienced a bug or glitch of any kind. It’s clean and simple, and ads are not intrusive. I’m about 99% certain I’ll never make the leaderboard, but it’s still fun to look over my ranking history.

I have been playing Words by Post with my mother (YES MY MOTHER) since my Windows phone back in 2011 or so. At the time, WBP was the only word game available to Windows platform users. This game is far better than WWF for many reasons... the most prominent is certainly the ranking system in addition to the lack of Ads; in fact, my mother thought we should switch at one point (ti WWF) but was so averted by the ads on WWF that we instantly came back to WBP. Seriously, I don't think we even finished the WWF game. Today we recognized that the WBP server has gone down... perhaps this is temporary (also note Whols Verification needed on their website), but regardless it is crushing. WBP has been a way for my family and I to stay in competition with one another (e.g. my mom and I have played just under a thousand games). I hope WBP returns... truly the best word game that exists!! Leave WWF today and join us on WBP
