Best App ever. I have a “tech”neck , using ipad phone and computer the whole days. Developed constant neck pain and a sort of beg. “Hunchback”. Exercises are easy , bringing relief and improvements. Buy this Appp instead of painkillers or large amounts of coffee. Highly recommendedUpdate : I am using this app for years , it helps me to function and to,stay pain free. EVERYTIME I skip - I come back to it . Better than any pain medication!
I stretch all the time and was looking for some fresh stretches for some of the more difficult areas to stretch. The StretchAway apps are great and have added some variety to my routine. I bought all 4 apps. My only complaint is that there is a lot of overlap between apps... Meaning the same stretches show up in multiple apps. I feel a little cheated but looking at the bright side, if one stretch is really healthy for a number of areas, that means less stretch time required!
I have had very bad to severe pain since 2006, when a fully loaded truck rear-ended me while I sat in my car at a traffic light. I have L4 and L5 discs completely torn –called annular tears; so much pain! I have had 32 epidural injections and have probably consumed over 20 lbs. of medication over the past 6 years, and have had months and months of physical therapy- always hearing the same thing, “You gotta strengthen, build the back muscles, get your core strong”, etc. and never getting any real lasting relief. The only thing that helped the pain was strong narcotic medication- NOT my idea of real help. It steals your life and soul, one pill at a time. I know the doctors are trying what they know to help and yes, medication “helps” but it costs too much in every way in the long run. It makes you miserable and the judgment from ignorant people who don’t understand the indescribable suffering of chronic pain (and they should have to experience it before they judge), is despicable! Now, at last I have found some real, lasting relief. Desperate for a different way, I searched the internet and asked around for better solutions. I found Stretch Away Pain. I looked, listened and checked with my doctor about the Stretch Away Pain philosophy. My doctor, a pain specialist, gave me the thumbs up after researching the application I had downloaded to my iPad. I am SO glad he did. I have had such an amazing experience with this program. The pain is considerably reduced and when I keep to it, I get better and better results! It takes a commitment to get better, but I am very committed to feeling alive and well again. I have been able to reduce my medication by 75% and hope to be off it completely by the end of this year. My doctor says I am doing it the right way and is amazed at how I’m doing-and I think medical doctors are very skeptical and doubting, they believe in what they know; medication. I am over the moon with how much better I feel and how much more I can do. And yes, I am stronger too- the right way!
