Love the super-convenient message links, but the most surprisingly useful part is the built-in event calendar! Finally, a place I can go to instantly know what's going on each week. I hope it's used to its full potential. Great quick links to the blog and online giving pages in the "More" section. I see tons of potential for the app. How about a "Find a ChangePoint member nearby" function—at a conference at the Dena'ina center or fishing on the Deshka and want to bless another follower of Jesus? Ping them and meet up! I envision the app becoming a true two-way street to engage people with each other and the church. I envision using it to find someone to pray with or asking for help (because we're all broken and needy), expressing praise to the Most High and celebrating God's goodness with fellow members of our family, networking groups of people together (allowing people to plan, host, and publish meetings with other ChangePoint members right from their phones), discussing doctrine and sharing life experiences with others in a forum environment, and all kinds of other ways to help people engage with each other. But for now, this is a TREMENDOUS start and very useful tool. Great going, guys!
cant think of much else I would need (or want) for an app that is connected to my church. if i cant make it to hear sermon, want to listen to a sermon again or just stay connected about upcoming events, this is a perfect way to go.
Works as advertised, just in time for our busy summer. Thanks for helping us stay connected to our church even when we are fishing and camping. Now if it could automatically silence your phone when you walk into church it would be perfect.
