Since the online app was made available I now have ‘my paper’ at 0430 instead of 1000 as it is with the paper edition. No amount of complaining and threats to d/c service did anything to improve service.
Let’s call it a WIN-WIN for me and the PP: they can’t attract dependable carriers whether through courier or PP employed outsourcing AND I get the PP online issue before sunrise.
I like how easy it is to enlarge the online articles and the ease in flipping through the pages. WELL DONE!!

I don’t need to get the paper delivered anymore and search for the actual paper outside in the snow or non-existent. I don’t have to sit at the kitchen table to read it or fold it. I have large type anytime and it is promptly delivered and I receive a notification on my iPad that it is here. A month of old papers are kept in memory- I’ve never looked at them and I don’t have to recycle. The best part- it’s not as expensive as the real paper. This is pretty simple compared to the complicated actual paper. There have been glitches when the paper was delivered 1/2 hr to an hour later, but it is there! One time they forgot the Sunday funnies, they did show up a day later with an apology.

I have been a subscriber to the St. Paul Pioneer Press for many years, but like many others, I had found I was turning to my phone for the news, rather than reading the printed news on my doorstep every day. By having this app, I am able to read the news, especially the local St. Paul news, and still support my local newspaper!
