I’ve been using this app for close to 10 years, and it’s awesome. It’s strange that it never shows up when you search “bible” in the App Store, but it’s a great edition! I like annotating and bookmarking passages, and being able to create my own tags for passages so that I can revisit a theme later. For example, one of my tags is “trusting God,” and whenever I read something on the topic, I bookmark/ tag the passage. Then, later I can revisit those verses and meditate on them.

Next update please consider NOT erasing all my highlights They were wiped out with the last update. The app is great other than that The update for iOS 13.1 has a bug. When tapping the underlined text that brings up the study dialogue “Tree box” when finished reading and after closing the box instead of staying on the same page where you were located it jumps to the next page causing me to have to hit the back button to find my original location. Hope you fix this update as the updates are few between.

I was looking to purchase the printed edition of the Ignatius Study Bible, and while I was checking my options, I ran across this app and gave it a try. I was impressed by its standard features, so I decided to buy the whole package (study Bible & audio since I had heard the audio portion before and really enjoyed it). I have no regrets as the study Bible is a wonderful resource and the audio version is great when you’re traveling, walking, relaxing etc. Plus the fact that it can be accessed on different platforms makes it a no brained for me. The Gospel of Mark has the audio and study versions active so can try these opinions out before making a commitment.
